Oliver Gospel Mission is a community-based mission that helps those experiencing homelessness, poverty, or addiction transform their lives through physical, spiritual, and relational support so that they can lead full, healthy lives.
Volunteers are the life-blood of Oliver Gospel. Short-term and long-term opportunities are available, including serving meals, sorting clothing, leading classes or chapel, and more! Becoming a volunteer is as simple as 1-2-3:
1. Visit our volunteer page.
2. Create a volunteer profile.
3. Choose a serving shift and facility that works with your schedule.
We do ask that you sign up to volunteer on our website, so we can be prepared to maximize your gifts and talents for the ministry. For more information, call our Community Engagement Coordinator at (803) 254–6470 ext. 1200.
Monetary donations can be made online, by mail, or by phone.
Oliver Gospel is always in need of non-perishable food items and a variety of other items to support our ministries.

Donating to Oliver Gospel
It generally takes between 3-7 business days to receive and process your donation. We do our best to process your donation as quickly as we can, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding. If it has been more than 7 business days since your mailing, or if you have any further questions, please contact us.
One-time or monthly donations are easy to complete online! Acceptable forms of payment include Visa, Discover, MasterCard, or American Express credit cards or e-check.
When you make an online donation, you will receive an email confirmation message once your donation is complete. Receipts will also be mailed to the address you have provided within 7-10 business days. If you would prefer to only receive email receipt, contact us.
We use a secure payment processor to ensure that your credit card information is safe. Sometimes the payment processor may reject your information for unspecified reasons. If the charge has been blocked on your bank statement, we recommend contacting your issuing bank to understand why the charge was blocked.

Donations made to Oliver Gospel are tax-deductive to the fullest extent of the law. Oliver Gospel is a registered (501(c)(3) charitable organization (EIN: 57-6027750). We issue tax receipts at the time of donation. If you would like to request a receipt for one or more donations you made this year, please contact us. Please consult with your tax advisor for proper tax treatment of any donations.

Our mailings are one of the ways we report back to our donors about the lives changed because of their support, and they are an important way we receive gifts from our supporters. Often, these mailers serve as a reminder that we need our supporters’ help throughout the year and, without them, we would be unable to continue providing food, shelter and life-transforming programs to people in need.
If you want to reduce or change the number of mailings you receive, we’re happy to help. Simply call us at (803) 254-6470 or contact us online to update your mail preferences. Any change will take 8-12 weeks to take effect.
